Summer Brief to Promotional Items

As an initial task to get us back into the mind frame of designing, we have been set a task to turn out summer research and the theme that it encompasses into three promotional items that advertisement an event or such like relating to the summer brief. As my summer brief surrounds the subject of the internet and the high street and final graphic product for my summer brief was centred around the relationship between the two and quotes from Mary Portas throughout the publication I have decided to focus my promotional items around a fictional talk that Mary Portas would hold to inform the public and industry experts about her views of the current economy, the high street and e-commerce. I feel this event also fits well with the graphic product I created for the summer brief as they would work together as the talk in enhance and building upon the information in the publication.

From the feedback I have received on my summer brief, I have a pretty solid design concept and visual identity for my subject matter, so I don't want to stray too much away from my original design ethos of my summer brief publication. My feedback suggest that the colours worked well and that limited colour palette and black and white images compliment the content well.
